I am 36 years old, married and I have 3 children, captain of the Qatar national team” Previously”, I work as a coach for age groups and I am currently an assistant coach in the senior national team.

How did you develop your fondness for karate?
As a hobby to participate in local tournaments afterward for professionalism.
What drew you to Karate out of all other sports?
Respect.
At what age did you start learning karate?
6 years old.
What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in karate?
Stokan,4 Dan.
What was the highest prize you won?
World bronze U21 in 2005 and gold in Arab Games 2011.
What do you like more Kata or Kumite?
Kumite.
Do you have a favorite Sensei?
Frankly, I don’t have a particular sensei.

How did you get to this position and how was your journey being in this sport?
Preference, of course, was full of challenges and difficulties.
Do you take karate as your profession or is it just a hobby?
It was a hobby and now it’s a profession.
Who’s been an inspiration for you throughout your sports journey?
Mohammad Ali.
What challenges did you come across on getting where you are at today?
You can share any injury story as well.
Before the 2005 World Championships, my services were terminated from work, due to practicing karate and traveling to participate in international tournaments, it became pressure on me, and from that day I turned this into a challenge and a strong challenge.
What motivates you the most about your profession as an athlete?
Challenge.

What are your strengths as both an athlete and as a person?
As a human being: respect
As an athlete: speed
