I’m Atoosa rezaei joo, I was born on 21/2/2000.
How did you develop your fondness for karate?
I developed my interest when I got my first medal in a match. It was a great feeling.

What drew you to Karate out of all other sports?
I choose Karate because it gave and gives me a sense of power, a sense of protection, and defending myself.
At what age did you start learning karate?
I started my career at the age of 3, very young I guess.
What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in karate?
I have 3rd dan of Shotokan.
What was the highest prize you won?
I have won an Asian prize.
What do you like more Kata or Kumite?
Kumite!
Do you have a favorite Sensei?
Yes, I do.
How did you get to this position and how was your journey being in this sport?
I was put through so much, and I worked hard and fought for it, never backed down.
Do you take karate as your profession or is it just a hobby?
Of course, it’s my love and profession. My whole life, almost.
Who’s been an inspiration for you throughout your sports journey?
My parents give me all hope and motivation. They support and provide me with what I need.
What challenges did you come across on getting where you are at today?
You can share any injury story as well.
Being far from my family and difficulties on my way always challenged me.
What motivates you the most about your profession as an athlete?
As an athlete, I think of a healthy life and a brilliant future in my career.
What are your strengths as both an athlete and as a person?
I consider myself to be independent, and I have goals and I care about those goals, I can learn easily and I’m good at teamwork.
Do you have something you want everyone to learn?
I want to make everyone learn about being independent and being hopeful and hardworking for their goals, I want them to learn not to give up.
