A brief introduction to yourself?
My name is Danylo Kravchuk. I am 17 years old, from Lviv, Ukraine UA.

How did you develop your fondness for karate?
Coach! Exactly that person instilled in me a love for karate.

What drew you to Karate out of all other sports?
I started practicing at the age of 6, and at the first training, I realized that it was my sport!

At what age did you start learning karate?
I was only 6 years old.

What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in karate?
I practice sports karate, I am 1 dan and Master of Sports of Ukraine.

What was the highest prize you won?
I took part in the Premier League, it’s like World Cup, and I took 1st place.

What do you like more Kata or Kumite?
Kumite for sure. I have never tried kata, it’s too boring for me.

Do you have a favorite Sensei?
It is my coach who made me who I am now.

How did you get to this position and how was your journey being in this sport?
It wasn’t so easy, but it was worth it. I believe shortly it will be more interesting and more exciting!

Do you take karate as your profession or is it just a hobby?
For me, it is my lifestyle. Will I take karate as my profession? Life will show.

Who’s been an inspiration for you throughout your sports journey?
I am training with one of the best karate players in the world – Stanislav Horuna. The way he tries to do his best every training inspired me.

What challenges did you come across on getting where you are at today?

You can share any injury story as well.
Luckily, I didn’t have serious injuries that would knock me out.

What motivates you the most about your profession as an athlete?
A huge desire to prove to myself that I can do better than yesterday.

What are your strengths as both an athlete and as a person?

I think stubbornness and cunning are my strengths.

Do you have something you want everyone to learn?
Believe in yourself, believe in your goals only that way you can reach them.
