A short introduction to yourself?
I’m 17 years old, I’m jiu-jitsu and judo athlete, I started when I was 09 years old. I have some national and state titles.
What sports do you practise?
Jiu-jitsu and Judo.
How did you develop your fondness for your sport and at what age did you start learning?
I went to learn self-defence and it ended up that I fell in love. I started at 09 years old.
What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in?
I’m a guard, I like to guard and go to the triangle.
What do you like about Kata or Kumite more?
Kata I can practice at home it makes it easier.
Do you have a favourite Sensei?
I don’t have, all my senseis learned a lot, all were and are magnificent.
How did you get into this position and how did your journey in this sport go?
My journey has always been difficult, school, training, competitions, looking for sponsorships, I have always dedicated myself to the fullest.
Do you take sports as a profession or is it just a hobby?
Profession, I intend to do physical education to be able to keep myself better in the sport.
What challenges have you faced in getting to where you are now? You can also share any injury story.
I have several challenges, besides training, making raffles to pay championships, buy kimono, food. I’ve already cracked my elbow bone in training a month before competing.
What motivates you most about your profession as an athlete?
The fact of being able to contribute in the future so that other girls can join the sport and be able to live this experience.
Do you have anything you want everyone to learn?
Humility and patience.
What tournament or match you have won are you most proud of and why?
Ibjjf Brazilian championship was very strong and disputed.
