My name is Gabriel, I’m 17 years old, I’m a blue belt athlete in jiu jitsu, I currently live in Brazil – Guaruja-Sp

How did you develop your fondness for your sport and at what age did you start?

My father who introduced me to the sport and was always motivating me, I started when I was 10 years old.

What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in (your sport)?

My fighting style is fast and calm.

Are you a member of any sports team? if not have you ever been?

Yes, I’m a member of Academy (slug team)

Are there any short-term goals you’d like to accomplish in the next few months to a couple of years?

Yes, to be the Ibjjf World Champion

Do you take sports as a profession or is it just a hobby?

I take it as a Profession.

What challenges have you faced in getting to where you are now? You can also share any injury story.

I continue to face challenges. I leave home at 11 am and cycle 40 km by bike to get to jiu Jitsu training at 12:30 pm, I eat at the gym and go to bodybuilding by bike, after bodybuilding training, I go more once for jiu jitsu training at 19:00 pm after finishing the training I go back to my house and arrive at 23:00 pm,

What motivates you most about your profession as an athlete?

It’s knowing that jiu jitsu will give me great things in the future

Do you have anything you want everyone to learn?

Believe in God’s plans, and put him in front of all things!
