A short introduction to yourself?
I’m 23 years old, I’m from Belem do Para and I currently live in Curitiba Parana.
How did you develop your fondness for your sport and at what age did you start learning?
I always liked sports, I was a football player but then I started to develop an interest in muay Thai and I never stopped.
What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in?
I’m an MMA fighter.
Are you a member of any sports team? If not have you ever been?
Training at Chute BoxeMonstro MMA.
Do you have a favourite sports teacher?
My head coach is Ed Carlos Monster.
Describe your major highlights and achievements in sports in the past.
I had a good career in Belm do Para but in muay Thai.
Do you take sports as a profession or is it just a hobby?
Yes, it’s my profession.
What challenges have you faced in getting to where you are now? You can also share any injury story.
To become a fighter you need to let go of many things, sometimes jobs, family, so you can dedicate yourself 100%.
What motivates you most about your profession?
The unity of my team, knowing that everyone believes in the work and that we are moving towards the same side.
Do you think everybody should practise sports or do you want everyone to learn?
Yes, I think sport saves lives.
What tournament or match you have won are you most proud of and why?
In my second MMA fight, we had a strategy but then we had to change it completely and thanks to training and my coach I managed to put on a good fight.
Are there any short-term goals you’d like to accomplish in the next few months to a couple of years?
At the moment I just want to keep evolving, I’m not in a hurry. But we are on the way so that when an opportunity arises we will be ready.
