A brief introduction to yourself?
Mohamed Amellal, 28 years old, Moroccan nationality, holder of third-degree black belt in Karate Shotokan, and first-degree belt holder in Chito Ryu. Several times Moroccan champion. I hold national and international championships in Kata. I am a karate coach in a club in Qatar.
How did you develop your fondness for karate?
I started this sport at the age of five.
What drew you to Karate out of all other sports?
This sport has been developed with long research and experience in this sport.
At what age did you start learning karate?
This is a sport that I loved as a child because it is a defensive sport and teaches you patience, morals, peace, and tolerance.
What was the highest prize you won?
My highest award in the World Championship in Brazil in kata, first place and the title of the best participant.
What do you like more Kata or Kumite?
I like kata the most because it’s my way.
Do you have a favorite Sensei?
My best coach is a Japanese expert Kagawa.
Do you take karate as your profession or is it just a hobby?
Karate for me everything is my profession, my hobby, and everything.
Who’s been an inspiration for you throughout your sports journey?
My family and friends have inspired me throughout my sporting journey.
What challenges did you come across on getting where you are at today?
You can share any injury story as well.
In proportion to the challenges, I have faced in my life are the problems of society because any hero criticizes him and tries to keep him from fame because of envy, but with will and determination, he overcomes.
What motivates you the most about your profession as an athlete?
The thing that motivated me about this sport is that it is one of the sports that I love.
What are your strengths as both an athlete and as a person?
My strength is patience, determination, and courage.
Do you have something you want everyone to learn?
I have a lot to teach about this sport through my humble experience.
