Rob Hulsen is an assistant trainer of 2nd Dan. He is at the age of 48. He always had an interest in karate deep down but his interest in football was more than that so he kept playing football all his childhood. He started practicing Japanese Jiu Jitsu at the age of 23, still having his fondness for karate.
Ultimately at the age of 41, Rob Hulsen began with karate and found his way back in it when his daughter started with her lessons.
Rob Hulsen’s current rank is 2nd Dan. He practices Shotokan Karate. His highest achieved prize is the 2nd place in Kata-senior category. He has a very discrete and rare preference and prefers Kata above Kumite, but he still tries to get the maximum out of Kumite training. Hulsen doesn’t have a favorite Sensei. He strongly believes that every Sensei must be treated with the same amount of respect.
