A short introduction to yourself?

My name is Erivelton Lopes, I’m 26 years old, I’m passionate about sports, I’m from Brazil, state of Bahia, my city is called São Gonçalo dos Campos.

How did you develop your fondness for your sport and at what age did you start?

I took up karate through my brother. I never liked all the training and I like to enjoy it, with 05 years old, we agreed to practice.

What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in (your sport)?

I’m shotokan style and today I’m in the top 10 of the ranking in Brazil.

Are you a member of any sports team? if not have you ever been?

I am an athlete from @aiapem and @ipam.fight

Describe your major highlights and achievements in sports in the past.

I was South American champion in the world 200 and 2010, in another organization, today by the national WKF some titles at the level and state of Brazil.

Are there any short-term goals you’d like to accomplish in the next few months to a couple of years?

I intend to get as high as possible in the national ranking and seek the spot in the Brazilian team next year, a dream to wear the shirt of the national team and play for countries representing my country.

Do you take sports as a profession or is it just a hobby?

I take all this very seriously, so it’s a profession for me.

What challenges have you faced in getting to where you are now? You can also share any injury story.

I try to improve myself every day, every training session, evolve as an athlete as much as possible, discover the best version of myself. 9-I want everyone to learn the importance of sport and start to value it as a trainer of people and a tool for transformation. Sport is health, life. 10-I am proud of the South American in Uruguay in 2009, it was a very beautiful and difficult competition.
