A short introduction to yourself?

Rudra Kaushik is a National volleyball player in India.

How did you develop your fondness for your sport and at what age did you start learning?

At very Early age I was very interested in playing and watching volleyball ,I enjoyed watching it everyday in my hometown  

What is your style and what rank do you currently hold?

I am a national volleyball player and got admission in one of the best universities in Delhi university through sports quota . 

Are you a member of any sports team? if not have you ever been?

I have been a member of many teams but now I am in Zakir Hussain Delhi college team . 

Describe your major highlights and achievements in sports in the past.

I participated in the national championship from up and I have gold in state and district. 

Do you take sports as a profession or is it just a hobby?

Yes, sports is my hobby and profession both ,as I love playing it . 

What challenges have you faced in getting to where you are now? You can also share any injury story.

There are many challenges I faced in my career. At first my parents were not supporting or encouraging me to play sports but after some days they agreed .I have got a major injury on my ankle ,my ankle twisted before the youth state championship and I was injured after 2 months I recovered and came back from my injury . 

What motivates you most about your profession?

The passion of playing and  it keeps me fit and healthy  

Do you think everybody should practise sports or do you want everyone to learn?

Yes I want to learn more about our body how we can increase our jump and basic tactics to improve strength and muscular power in short time 

What tournament or match you have won are you most proud of and why?

The final of senior state championship it was one of the best match of my entire life it has ups and downs but I really enjoyed that match and we won it
