A short introduction to yourself? 

My name is Saidi Mfaume, (Master Mfaume), I was born in 1986 in Dar es salaam Tanzania East Africa. I am the founder of the Tanzania Wushu Association, I am also the C.E.O of Shaolin Temple Tanzania.

How did you develop your fondness for your sport and at what age did you start learning?

After seeing the Chinese action films. I started when I was 20 years old.

What is your style and what rank do you currently hold in

 3th Black belt and Shaolini Kung Fu Diploma from Shaolini Temple China.

Are you a member of any sports team? if not have you ever been?

Member of Shaolini Temple Tanzania.

Do you have a favourite sports teacher?

YanBou Shifu.

Describe your major highlights and achievements in sports in the past.

Getting to know people, being respected, being trusted, visiting different countries, etc.

Do you take sports as a profession or is it just a hobby?

Professional

What challenges have you faced in getting to where you are now? You can also share any injury story

I was not sure of getting food, Training with hunger, Without sports equipment and good management in my life, I did not get any support. I was kicked out of the home because I’m learning kungfu.

What motivates you most about your profession?

The quality of the Kung Fu game itself. Within Kung Fu there are many things of value for human beings, Spirituality, Health and Personal Protection, Entertainments, etc.

Do you think everybody should practise sports or do you want everyone to learn?

Yes.

What tournament or match you have won are you most proud of and why?

Lesso Cup International Wushu Competition 2014.

Are there any short-term goals you’d like to accomplish in the next few months to a couple of years?

To making an action film
