My name is Tamara Misirlic, from Vranje, I am 18 years old, I have been practicing karate since I was four years old. I have the title of master of karate, a black belt that I acquired at the age of 14.

 

I am a participant in many competitions, starting with the championship, numerous international and domestic competitions. About three hundred competitions are behind me, and I have over 300 medals.

 

The year 2019 is extremely important for me because then I passed for the judge, now I compete and judge at the same time. I will also single out the World Championship that was held in 2019 in Karlovy Vary, where I won 3rd place in the Kumite, in a competition of 16-20 years.

 

I was a competitor in kata, at the European Championship in Subotica in 2017 I won first place. Unfortunately, in 2018, I suffered a serious injury (knee loss), which I still struggle with today, and then I stopped competing in kata, because, due to sharp and sudden movements, I never managed to finish the kata to the end, it would always turn out in half.

 

I deal with karate professionally, I am a member of the Serbian national team.

 

My style is Shotokan, and my favorite sensei is my coach, Ratko Krstić.

 

The road to the national team was difficult, a lot of training, a lot of sacrifices, a lot of sleepless nights.

 

The biggest motivation gives me that I am the assistant coach of our club, at the age of only 16 I found myself in the role of a coach, that was a big responsibility for me. I plan to open my karate club when I enroll in college.

 

My wish is to learn to be human, to be fair players, above all friendly towards opponents, because karate teaches us that, to be calm.

 

 

I am most proud of the Super Enpi Cup tournament which took place in Subotica 2019, and in 20 countries participated, I managed to win two gold medals in the fights.
